Recently Released Critical Drivers - Read Only.Recently Released Service Tips - Read Only.It should be helpful if someone here in the forum, which has already used the Winflash64 utility, could tell me if it's possible to stop it after it has completed the backup, before it goes on overwriting the existing bios. I don't want to risk to damage the computer I wish to take the bios from (it belongs to a friend), overwriting or blanking its bios by mistake. This looks like nonsense to me, as I just want to backup the bios to a file and then, and only then, on another PC, restore it. Winflash64 utility, which seems to be the right tool, is a little bit tricky, because it keeps on requesting to specify BOTH bios backup filename, AND new bios filename.
#Touchpad lenovo b590 how to#
As I have access to a computer with exactly the same bios, it shouldn't be difficult to backup - and then restore - original H9ET81WW, but unfortunately I can't find affordable directions on how to perform the operation. The discussion you posted is related to a problem very similar, but doesn't suggest any solution.
